TEi-Calibration Services (TEi-CS) performs instrument calibrations traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). TEi-CS operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories".

TEi-Inspection Services (TEi-IS) performs inspections of all kinds, to whatever inspection criteria you need. TEi-IS operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020, "General criteria for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection".

TEi-Library Services (TEi-LIB) is a technical library (SAN 316-9189) that maintains standards and technical documents for TEi personnel. Because we're such generous folks, we've made our library of documents available to you as well!

TEi-Library Services has:

• Standards - published by UL, ANSI, ISO, ASSE, ASME, BSI, TUV, and others
• Technical Documents - by industry sources such as ASME, IAPMO, CSA, and others
• Books - on subjects such as quality control system establishment, and others

A small fee is charged for shipping and administrative costs. Our librarian can assist you in obtaining copies of whatever document you may need. If we do not have the document you are looking for, we can acquire it for you.

TEi-Listing Services (TEi-LS) is a Product Certification Body, accredited to ISO/IEC Guide 65, "General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems". We certify and list primarily Recreational Vehicle components, but also many other types of products.

Our certification process includes the following steps:

• Application - Organizations wishing to have their product certified complete an official application. Documentation describing the design, manufacture, and use of the product is submitted along with the application.
• Testing - The applicant's product is tested against the performance standard specified by the applicant or the authority having jurisdiction.
• Inspection - An inspection is made of the applicant's manufacturing facility and quality system, to ensure that the product will be made the same way every time.

We perform annual compliance testing and follow-up inspections to ensure that our clients continue to meet the applicable requirements.

Having your product certified and listed by TEi-LS can fulfill many requirements imposed by government or industry regulators. And by displaying the TEi-LS certification mark, your customers will know that your product has been independently certified and will have more confidence in the quality of your product.

TEi-Support Services (TEi-SS) is a catch-all for anything else that you could possibly need us to do, but we haven't made a separate company for. If you ask us to do something enough, we'll create a company for it eventually. Until then, it will probably fall under TEi-Support Services.

• Consulting services, such as advice in the design, use, or other matters related to any material or product for which TEi has developed an expertise (and if we don't have an expertise, we'll give it a shot anyway)
• Forensic services, in matters dealing with product liability, product performance vs. usage, product failure, etc.

• Safety training, assessment, auditing, and tracking
• Sales of measuring equipment such as digital height gages, thread gages, micrometers, granite plates, etc.

TEi-Testing Services (TEi-TS) provides testing of many types of products and materials to industry standards. TEi-TS operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories".

We can test an unimaginable array of things, but some of our favorites include:

• Soil - We test soil for pH, resistivity, and so forth to ASTM and AASHTO standards
• Water - Primarily this is water used in metal cutting applications, but we have a fully-equipped chemical laboratory that can do many kinds of composition testing
• Stone & Tile - We test stone and tile for coefficient of friction, flexibility, breakability, and other stuff to many ASTM standards
• Plumbing Products - We can test plumbing products for toxicity against NSF 61, and for performance against whatever industry standard you can come up with
• Marine Sanitation Devices - Matt very much enjoys playing with the Marine Sanitation Devices and certifying them for the U.S. Coast Guard
